Dr. Subrahmanyam Nasika completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has been working as a nephrologist in the central valley since July 2009. Inspired by his father who is a physician, Dr. Nasika always wanted to pursue medical career because of the positive impact his father had on peoples’ lives. He started his Nephrology practice in Merced, California in 2009 to be closer to his family. He joined San Joaquin kidney clinic in 2014.

Dr. Nasika obtained his Medical Degree from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, India.

Dr. Nasika is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

His main clinical interests include acute kidney injury, resistant hypertension, glomerular disease, in addition to chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy, and post-transplantation care.
